You Better Be Ready

I knew a man who used to say to
Little children, '"pick up those papers,
Don't you litter the house of the Lord.
You should be reverent when you enter
The temple of God.
You know that I love you and I don't
Want you to be lost.
You better be ready, when death's angel
Calls from glory.

I know a man who we like to call our
Big brother. He is now up in heaven,
Pleading with His Father.
He's saying, "Father my blood was shed
For them at Calvary's hill.
You know that I love them and I don't
Want them to be lost.
You better be ready, when death's angel
Calls from glory. You better be ready.
