There's Sorrow

There's sorrow on every doorstep,
There is sorrow on each windowpane.
I am so glad that I'm included in the
Promise that God gave to men.
"I will come again." Not as a babe
In Bethlehem's cradle.
He will come in his heavenly robe,
To judge the world as it is.

You'll never be rejected, so don't
Walk away and shake your head.
Come just as you are to the fountain,
Come to Jesus he's waiting for you.
He will come again, not as a babe in
Bethlehem's cradle.
He will come in His heavenly robe,
To judge the world as it is.

I have known this way from childhood,
And I know that I have strayed in the past.
That's how I know just how much
I would be loosing,
If I don't walk where Jesus lead.
He will come again, not as a babe in
Bethlehem's cradle.
He will come in his heavenly robe,
To judge the world as it is.
