So Much Is Waiting

Someday I will claim my treasure,
That Jesus is holding for me.
I will walk on streets of glory,
Then live with Him eternally.
In humble adoration,
I will bow down at His feet.
So much is waiting,
In God's Holy City.
My mind tries to imagine,
Just how glorious it will be.
Things, that are waiting for me.

Someday when this life is over,
Then Jesus will come back you'll see.
He will bring the host of glory,
Just to redeem you and me.
He will take us to His Father;
There we shall bow before His throne.
So much is waiting, In God's Holy City.
My mind tries to imagine,
Just how glorious it will be.
Things, that are waiting for me.

So I am trying by His grace,
To follow the pathway he trod.
Try to walk the way that he walked.
In my life he must be seen.
So if you can't see him in me,
I am just wasting time you see.
For so much is waiting,
In God's Holy City.
My mind tries to imagine,
Just how glorious it will be.
Things, that are waiting for me.
