Run Prodigal Run

I become a big man now,
I will go my own way.
Give me what you have for me,
Father do it today! I will show to
The world, just how big I am.
I am going to live it up in another
Land. Run Prodigal run,
Your money will soon be done.
Very soon you will see,
You'll come back to me.
Run, run prodigal run.

I have nothing left to show,
All my money is gone.
It was surprised, when I looked
Around, I had no friends.
I must find something to do,
I am in a strange land.
But the only job that could find,
Was feeding swine.
Run, run prodigal run.

I don't think that I should be here,
Feeding all these swine.
So I will arise, go and with my
Father dine.
I will say, I am sorry father,
For those things I have done.
O father please forgive my sins,
And take me back today.
Run, run prodigal run.
