Holes In His Hands

He said, bring the little children,
Let them rest on me awhile.
He touched the eyes of the blind man,
And gave him sight to see.
He helped the lame to walk,
Yes He made the dumb to speak.
And when he stumbled at Golgltha,
He stumbled there for me;
The man with the holes in His hands.

This world was condemned to die,
Because of the sins of men.
But he said, Father, I will go down
And give them life again.
The crown that was on his head,
O it was a crown of shame.
And when He said,
Father please forgive them,
He meant even me.
He is the man with the holes
In His hands.
