Father Forgive Them

Father forgive them, for they know
Not what they do. Soon my work on
Earth will be done, and I will be
Coming back home to you.
Many still don't believe me,
They say I'm not your son.
How can I convince them Father;
That I am the one?
You sent me down here
To mend the broken hearted.
They rejected me,
Now they are nailing me to the cross.

Father forgive them, for they know
Not what they do. Soon I will give
My life for them, Father you see
This angry crow. Many still don't
Believe me, they say I'm not your
Son. How can convince them Father,
That I am the one. You sent me down
Here to open the eyes of the blind.
Yet even those with eyes to see,
They are as blind as blind as can be.

Father forgive them, for they know
Not what they do. Soon they will lay
Me in the tomb. Father my future
Depends on you. Many still don't
Believe me, they say I'm not your
Son. Tell me how can I convince
Them Father, that I am the one.
This thief at my side, Father he
Believes in me. So if it be your
Will, I beg you take this cup
From me. Father, forgive them!
