Beatiful Sabbath

Each beautiful Sabbath morning,
We earnestly pray to thee.
For thou has spared our sinful lives,
And now we give thanks to thee.
We could not do this on our own,
So we waited patently. We are glad
That thou didst not pass us by,
Lord, when unto thee we cry.

Many kings and rulers have failed,
By trying to change this day.
Though saints have suffered martyrdom,
Yet still the lord's day prevailed.
Lord we know that there are worst to come,
But many will stand for thee,
To bear the seal of thy righteousness,
Then live in heaven with thee.
